David Sirk has an extensive background in hospital administration and financial management. He has held the positions of Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Executive Director and Associate Executive Director – Finance and Restructuring Consultant in hospitals in both urban and rural settings.

His executive management experience includes both for profit and not for profit hospitals with as many as 800 employees and Net Operating Income over $9 million annually.

He has successfully led hospitals transitions and achieved financial turnaround results with as much as a $13 million increase in annual profitability.

His executive work history includes large multi hospital systems, stand alone hospitals, as well as management and consulting contracts.

His project management successes include leading the restructuring efforts to close a 215 bed acute care hospital and developing a medical mall strategy for the continued use of the facility that leased four of the six inpatient floors to other hospital providers in the area.

His hospital operations and financial expertise includes establishing or expanding existing hospital service lines, professional services agreement contracting, lease negotiations, cost reduction and revenue cycle strategies, productivity benchmarks, facilities management, regulatory compliance, physician recruiting and practice management, hospital board best practices and strategic business planning.
